This application document of the HWA approach was produced in order to give the opportunity, if need be and if relevant, to prepare, enhance and coordinate neighbouring European countries’ responses in the event of a NPP accident in Ukraine by using the available HERCA library.
The on-going war increases the risk of a nuclear accident in Ukraine. WENRA and HERCA assessed the potential consequences of a severe accident, should it occur.
